Leading Edge MMA is located in the beautiful city of Thunder Bay in Northern Ontario. Thunder Bay was designated as the martial arts capital of Canada mainly due to its martial arts council. The council is made up of over 20 member clubs whose unified purpose is the enhancement of member’s lives through martial art training.
  Leading Edge MMA has recently relocated their gym after a decade in their old location. Our new training facility is located at 96 High Street inside the center of change (formerly Hillcrest High school).Our new location is 5000 sq feet and is complete with large training cage, grappling mat, kickboxing area, weight room and a pro-shop.
  In the spirit of the Thunder Bay martial arts council and working together, Leading Edge MMA has put together a world class coaching staff. We offer classes with top coaches from the disciplines of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Realistic self defense training, Kickboxing, wrestling and boxing. We also offer personal training with our certified instructors in any of these disciplines as well as strength and conditioning.
  There are many reasons to train at our facility. Our members find training in our programs help them lose weight, deal with stress, aid them in cross training for other sports and also increase their confidence and energy levels.
